Acacia Decking
Premium acacia decking boards for residential and commercial projects
Overview
Acacia decking is a fast-growing tropical hardwood that delivers impressive hardness and natural durability at a competitive price. With a Janka hardness of 2,300 lbf, Acacia is harder than many popular decking species while being significantly more affordable than Ipe or Teak. Its varied grain patterns — from straight to interlocked — and warm golden to dark brown color create a visually striking deck surface. As one of the fastest-growing hardwood trees, Acacia is also one of the most sustainable exotic decking options available.

Installation Tips
Pre-drill all fastener holes to prevent splitting.
Use stainless steel or approved hardwood screws.
Allow 1/8" gap between boards for expansion and drainage.
Acclimate boards for 5-7 days before installation.
Apply end-sealer to all cut ends.
Mix boards from multiple bundles to blend natural color variation.
Maintenance
Apply a penetrating hardwood oil annually to maintain the warm brown color. If left untreated, Acacia will weather to silver-gray over time. Clean annually with mild soap and water. Acacia responds well to oil finishes and can be refinished to restore its original color. Inspect annually for any loose fasteners.
