Hard Maple Flooring
Premium hard maple flooring boards for residential and commercial projects
Overview
Hard Maple is one of the hardest domestic hardwood flooring options at 1,450 lbf Janka — harder than Oak, Walnut, and Cherry. Its creamy white to light reddish-brown color and fine, uniform grain create a bright, clean aesthetic that's perfect for modern and contemporary interiors. Maple is the wood of choice for gymnasiums, bowling alleys, and basketball courts because of its exceptional wear resistance. For residential applications, it delivers a light, airy floor that makes rooms feel larger and more open.

Installation Tips
Acclimate for 5-7 days in the installation space.
Nail-down or glue-down depending on subfloor.
Maintain 3/8" expansion gap at walls.
Subfloor must be flat within 3/16" over 10 feet.
Use a moisture barrier over concrete subfloors.
Maple is dense — use proper nail gauge and spacing.
Maintenance
Sweep or vacuum regularly. Clean with a Maple-safe hardwood floor cleaner. Avoid water-based stains (Maple can blotch) — use dye stains or go natural. Place mats at entryways and felt pads under furniture. Refinish every 8-12 years. Maple's hardness means it resists wear exceptionally well.
