Installation Tips

Pre-drill all fastener holes — white oak is very hard and will split otherwise

Use stainless steel fasteners to prevent tannin staining

Set posts at least 30" deep in concrete for stability

Apply a penetrating oil finish to enhance grain and protect the surface

Work with sharp carbide-tipped blades for clean cuts

Allow for seasonal movement — do not over-tighten connections

Maintenance
