Cypress Fencing
Premium cypress fencing boards for residential and commercial projects
Overview
Bald Cypress is a naturally durable softwood that has been used for centuries in the southeastern United States for fencing and outdoor construction. Its heartwood contains cypressene, a natural preservative that provides excellent resistance to rot, decay, and insects. Cypress fencing offers a beautiful honey-gold color with a distinctive grain that sets it apart from other fence woods.

Installation Tips
Select heartwood-grade for maximum natural durability
Use stainless steel or galvanized fasteners to prevent staining
Seal end cuts to prevent moisture absorption
Apply a penetrating sealer to maintain the golden color
Set posts in concrete at least 24" deep
Allow 1/8" gap between boards for seasonal movement
Maintenance
Cypress fences should be sealed every 2-3 years to preserve the golden color. Left unfinished, cypress weathers to a silver-gray. Clean annually with a mild detergent. Cypress is naturally resistant to decay so structural maintenance needs are minimal.
