About Garapa
Garapa, also known as "Brazilian Ash," is prized for its stunning golden color and smooth, splinter-free surface. With a Janka hardness of 1,650 lbf and natural resistance to decay and insects, Garapa offers excellent durability while being significantly easier to work with than denser exotics like Ipe and Cumaru. Its consistent light golden-yellow to honey-brown color makes it a top choice for pool decks, patios, and residential decking where a bright, warm aesthetic is desired. Garapa is also lighter in weight, making it easier to handle and install.

Maintenance & Care
Apply a UV-protective hardwood oil annually to maintain the golden color. Without UV protection, Garapa will gradually weather to silver-gray. Garapa responds well to oil finishes and refinishing. Clean with mild soap and water annually.
